WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL

WE ARE WAITING FOR GOODLUCK, ADOKI

Coach of the National wheelchair basketball team, Adoki Obererilene, has called on the federal government to fulfill its promise of rewarding sportsmen who have done the nation proud.

Adoki who also doubles as the Technical Director of The Nigeria Wheelchair Basketball Federation, (NWBF), said the team is patiently waiting on President Goodluck Jonathan to invite them to the presidential villa.

BRIDGE COLLAPSES ALONG APAPA-OSHODI EXPRESSWAY


It was a scary event as part of the  pedestrian bridge at Alaba Bus stop was pulled down by a passing tipper lorry. This caused serious traffic on the motor-road.

Motorists groaned for several hours in the chaotic traffic situation on the road caused by collapsed portions of the expressway, with the rubble of the collapsed bridge obstructing movement
